Goals

April 16, 2017

Wow, what a crazy six weeks it has been! When I booked this training, it didn’t register how long six weeks really is… And I didn’t realize how full on it would be actually living on site being fully immersed in the program. It’s been a crazy ride filled with its ups and down, but in the end I’m glad I experienced it.

^^ Mattress surfing! Mud literally EVERYWHERE! Photo credz to Coco.

^^ Mmm there’s a bridge under there that was the only way into town.

All smiles even after being evacuated. Through it all we stuck it through and persevered! The floods were a blessing in disguise as it made us all closer, but also to come out with a new appreciation for all the little things in life. Mother Earth is amazing in all her glory, but we often forget how powerful her wrath can be.

^^ Last Sunday feast. A lot of people were wondering why I decided to leave everything and everyone I know to venture off into a foreign country and to become a yoga teacher. Honestly it’s because I felt like I achieved everything I sought after in San Jose. I was at a standstill, not moving forward. I like to set goals for myself and I want to consistently keep growing and challenging myself.

…. So here we are six weeks later – certified yoga teachers!!!! This training has; tested my limits in more ways than one, really (REALLY) got me out of my comfort zone, but also has changed my whole outlook on how I want to live.

Just look at these beautiful people! We’re so different, yet all the same. It’s crazy how close you can get to a human being when you spend 24 hours a day together for 42 days. We’re now connected forever 💚 I can’t wait to take all of your yoga classes around the world!

^^ Celebrating with flood water (no seriously) soy chai lattes because I mean….. how can you not?

Back on the road I go. I’m currently on a 7-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur. I ventured into China town to see this temple. A bit eerie at 6am, but look how beautiful the moon was!

^^ Also I had to get this picture of my brekkie which cost me a whole .30!!!! Goodbye disgustingly expensive Australia (for now).

^^ Sunrise in KL. Next goal? Learn how to surf and also learn Japanese! Next stop – Vietnam!
